hi guys with Halloween coming up one of the cutest costumes to wear as we all know is the hula girl costume so as a born and raised Polynesian I thought I would share my tips and tricks with you all on how to make your hula girl costume even cuter and more islandy now my first tip for y’all is to not spend a lot of money on it it is just a Halloween costume so any little accessories that you can find from the dollar store will do the trick my second trick is honestly girls show some skin us Polynesians are known for being super sexy and flirty so play into that with your costume you know you really want to emphasise the sexy aspect of it now whatever you do do not use real flowers real leaves things like that you want it all to be plastic cause think about it you’re gonna be partying on Halloween the flowers are just gonna fall apart and die so the plastic-er the faker the better as a side note fake Polynesian tattoos really enhance the look so if you have access to some of those I would definitely recommend getting them or even if you live in a place like Ha-why-ee where you know you can go see a real tattoo artist and get real Polynesian tattoos I think that would really help with this costume now the final piece of the puzzle to really sell this costume is to learn a Polynesian dance it can be Hawaiian Tahitian Cook Island it honestly doesn’t really matter because they’re all pretty much the same thing anyway so you can just go on YouTube and look up how to dance the Polynesian way and you should be able to find a good tutorial or something but if you can do a little cute island dance maybe shake your ass a bit it’s really gonna help sell the costume and you’ll be a crowd favourite but yeah I really hope you guys enjoyed these tips and tricks and please leave a comment down below if you found them helpful bye
